The Copper Creek Mining Company is an HOn3 micro-layout, started in 2005, depicting a very small mining operation of unknown local. It's about 16 inches in diameter & features a scratchbuilt headframe, miners shack and hoist platform. There is a small trestle over a dry gully. The boiler (for the hoist) is from Keystone, ore car (and not shown Boxcab locomotive) from Grandt Line, and vehicles are by Jordan. Track is a single length of Micro Engineering flextrack. There remains to be built a hoist (a Rio Grande Models kit) and hoise house, as well as numerous details to add.
