Another scratchbuilt On3 freight car for my semi-fictitious Klondike Mines & Navigation Company. The railway is based on the Klondike Mines Railway which ran in the Yukon Territories, Canada for only a few seasons, between 1906-1913, but supposes after the original KMRy. folded its assets were bought up and reorganized under the new name. I plan to model it sometime in the 1920s. The boxcar is based on a drawing of Nevada County Narrow Gauge No. 50 that was in the 2008 Modelers Annual and is relatively accurate. The body and underframe are bass wood, trucks and detail bits are Grandt Line and coupler are Kadee #5s.
